汉唐舞是古典舞的一个分支，是古典舞大师孙颖教授根据古籍记载，复原并且再创作的舞种。汉唐舞古朴、典雅，既有汉代乐府的内敛，又有唐代诗词的豪放。谭老师曾经师从汉唐舞的奠基人孙颖教授研习汉唐舞，是北美为数不多的汉唐舞传承者。

Dance of the Han and Tang Dynasties is a subcategory of Classical Chinese Dance. It was reproduced and reinvented by a master dancer, Professor Sun Ying, from ancient dance scores. It has inherited the quant and elegant styles of the Han and Tang Dynasties, and carries the same aesthetic values of the literatures from those eras. Ms. Tan has studied this dance genre under Professor Sun himself, and is one of the few inheritors of this dance form in the North America.
