前幾天又見舞蹈【黃河】上了「舞蹈界」精藏版 ，是中國歌劇舞劇院演繹的一段【黃河】雙人舞。看著熟悉的舞蹈片段，不禁感嘆這支曾獲金獎的舞蹈作品的生命力。自1988 首演以來，它三十年來久演不衰，不僅被舞蹈最高學府北京舞蹈學院列為保留劇目，經常出現在海內外的演出舞台上，还被不同的舞蹈團體作為經典劇目不断演繹著，這在中國舞蹈史上是很少見的。这支舞蹈能被一代代舞者不断傳承著，可見其舞蹈所體現的魅力和精神，而被舞蹈界稱之為中國古典舞經典中的經典！(舞蹈視頻連接【黃河】第四樂章，北京舞蹈學院2017 演出實況: https://youtu.be/udwgcZn84l8) 而【黃河】的編舞之一正是姚勇舞蹈學院的藝術總監姚勇老師。近二十年在海外的耕耘，姚老師也幾次把【黃河】帶給灣區的觀眾，包括與聖荷西芭蕾舞團的合作及姚勇舞蹈學院不同期學員的演出，一次次的精湛演繹，獲得了一致的好評。 近年來姚勇老師的創作极其活跃，新創作的舞蹈作品涵蓋古典，民間和民族不同的舞蹈類型，在學院的每年兩次的匯報演出中都有新的作品呈現。其中一些作品參加了不同的舞蹈大賽，獲得了優異的成績，并應邀参与了很多大型演出，或得好評如云。姚勇老師的作品之所以能夠打動觀眾，是源於他對舞蹈的追求，心隨舞動，舞為心歌，有別於沒有情感的舞蹈技巧的堆砌。他的舞蹈所表達的情感和意象都能讓觀眾感動，因而极受欢迎。(姚勇舞蹈學院網站，姚勇原創作品及學院所獲的獎項 http://www.yaoyongdance.org/index.htm） 姚勇舞蹈學院成立17年來，培養了5歲至60多歲不同年齡的众多舞蹈愛好者。在这里無論你的基礎如何，興趣所在，都可以找到適合你的課程，從最基本的舞蹈形體訓練，古典舞身韻訓練，民族民間舞形體訓練课程，到實習排練舞蹈的課程，每年學員們還有機會在舞台上展現他們學習舞蹈的成果。 老師們因人施教，以极具耐心和專業的教學态度指導學員們學習舞蹈，讓每個学员們都收穫滿滿。

The Master Piece of Chinese Dance ” Yellow River Suite” and YaoYong Dance Academy A recent headline of the “Dance World ” website in China featured a video clip of the “Yellow River Suite” performed by the Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Theatre. Needless to say this gold medal winning work has been recognized as the best and favorite dance piece in China and presented on the international stage by the generations of dancers from different dance troops since it premiered in 1988. It was voted as one of the ” 20th Century Master Pieces by Chinese Dancers” , which is the highest award for its contribution and important role played in the Chinese Dance history (Video clip of “Yellow River Suite” Act IV, by Beijing Dance Academy: https://youtu.be/udwgcZn84l8). The choreographer of the ” Yellow River Suite”, Mr. Yong Yao, is the artistic director of YaoYong Dance Academy located in San Francisco Bay Area. He has brought this amazing piece of ” Yellow River Suite” to the Bay Area audience many times, including performance by YaoYong Dance students and the collaboration with the Ballet San Jose, which were well received and appreciated. In the past 17 years, Mr. Yao has choreographed many new works for YaoYong Dance, which covered full spectrum of Chinese Dance from classical dance to folk dance and ethnic dance. These new works have been presented in the YaoYong Dance biannual showcases and other various celebration and culture exchange events. Many of his works have received high awards in the Dance Competitions.
